'This Life' Laminex by Julie Paterson

Laminex have just announced the release of their latest collection with Cloth fabric’s Julie Paterson.

Australian textile designer Julie Paterson – founder of renowned brand Cloth – has completed a collaboration with Laminex Fusion Surfaces to produce ‘This Life’ – a collection inspired by the Australian environment.

“It is the strength, austerity and scale of the Australian environment that inspires me; the tones, the textures and the patterns are a never-ending source of stimulation,” Julie says.

The collection of 15 designs features names such as ‘Scribblybark’, ‘Coral Sea’ and ‘Urban Streetscape’. The designs utilise colours from the environments that inspired them, such as vibrant oranges and greens of native flora, within bold prints and shapes.

‘This Life’ is Julie’s first collection for Laminex and sits alongside other designs in the ‘Fusion’ range of surfaces.
