Headphones by WeSC

Ola Bednarczuk checks out some great headphones to get us in the groove move with maximum portability.

Remember when headphones were all big and spongey and covered half your head? As portable music players became smaller and smaller so too did headphones, until they were tiny unassuming buds that fit neatly in your ears.

Audio companies are now merging the two extremes and creating headphones that are compact and comfy but also make a fashion statement.

Some of our favourites come from WeSC – which stands for WeAretheSuperlativeConspiracy – a Stockholm-based streetwear and accessories company who love bold colours and design with attitude.

WeSC have headphones for every style and personality, from minimalist models in monochrome to round, padded and nostalgic, in colours like lime peel, lettuce and dandelion yellow.

For those that aren’t quite ready to re-embrace retro, there’s also a range of bud earphones in fun colours that scream personality and won’t just disappear into your ears.

WeSC headphones, according to the people at WeSC, are designed to be worn “while you walk, when you dance, if you run, when you wait.” And if they look this good, why not wear them everywhere you go?

Visit the WeSC website for a full range of stockists – and a list of fun facts about each country where the brand can be found.
