What’s the history of your company (how did it start)?
Established in Singapore in 2001, the Ximula Flexible System has cleverly evolved from its early format producing commercial workstations and office shelving into today’s sophisticated wardrobe and storage solutions for luxury homes.
Describe your customers?
The Ximula customer is looking for a new approach to wardrobes and storage solutions. They understand that the static cabinetry wardrobe system is outmoded, expensive and bulky, so Ximula has designed a lightweight, flexible, modular system at a reasonable price to better suit our demanding lifestyles.
What sets your company apart?
Ximula is the most sophisticated system available to organise your home or office. The Internationally Awarded system can easily transform from being a wardrobe into a TV entertainment system or office shelving with a few simple alterations. Such is the flexibility of the inter-changeable components that make Ximula unique in the marketplace
What are your client’s priorities at the moment?
Our clients rightly expect a superior quality product using materials and manufacturing methods that are friendly to the environment. The Ximula client has a desire for beauty and efficiency and a respect for well-engineered design solutions at a sensible price
What is good design to you?
To me a product only gains “good design” status when it exceeds my needs through sustainable, sensitive manufacture, superior functionality and inherent beauty.
What does the future hold?
Ximula is fairly new to the Australian market so it has been a very exciting time.
Our parent company in Singapore is closely monitoring our market here and is keen to adapt and develop products and finishes to suit our local needs.
