The Life Outside Issue

Introducing the Life Outside issue of Habitus magazine. With life increasingly being absorbed into a digital space, there is never a more important moment to hold something tangible. In this context, the power of nature to have a physiological impact on our sense of wellbeing has never been more important. The Nicholas table by Savage Design

The Nicholas, designed by Joel Savage and James Groom of Savage Design, is a low profile coffee table. Cut and pressed from one sheet of steel, its scalloped edges give it an almost creature-like stance ready to take your prized magazines, books or your much needed morning coffee.

The 5mm laser cut table is powder coated for durability and also creates a splash of colour or sophistication to your room. Each leg has a silicone foot, available in black and orange, to add contrast while protecting your floors.

For the industrial look Nicholas also comes in Black Oxide, a process used to bring out the black colour of the iron with in the steel creating a raw feel. Also available is the special edition ‘bush fire’ finish. With a blackened top and copper underside this combination of colours are reminiscing of a burnt Australian outback.
