Moët Ice Imperial Launch

Moët Ice Imperial was launched with ‘white chic’ sunset party on Thursday 13 October. The open-air location on the North Terrace of Sydney Opera House was a fitting location for guests to sample the new casual style of Champagne served over ice.

Guests including filmmaker Gracie Otto, model April-Rose Pengilly and Fashion Designer Clare Press joined forces last Thursday, to help Moët Ice Imperial usher in a new era of Champagne drinking in Australia.

“For the first time, a champagne has been created especially to be served and enjoyed on ice," says Moët Chef de cave Benoit Gouez.

"It’s perfect for casual celebration with friends on a warm, sunny day,” continues Gouez, explaining that Moët Ice Impérial breaks with the traditional Champagne codes by creating a high quality wine that’s better enjoyed chilled.

Encouraging spontaneity and casualness, while upholding the brands high standards and elegance, Moët Ice Imperial was served to party guests over cubed ice, in tumbler sized stem glasses and a choice of condiments like fresh lychee, paper thin cucumber and raspberries.

For many years, champagne has been served over ice in fashionable locations from the South of France to the party capital of Ibiza, however the ice quickly melted diluting and spoliing the favours within the champagne.
