The Life Outside Issue

Introducing the Life Outside issue of Habitus magazine. With life increasingly being absorbed into a digital space, there is never a more important moment to hold something tangible. In this context, the power of nature to have a physiological impact on our sense of wellbeing has never been more important. So how can we cultivate the benefits of the our natural environment in the most intimate of places – our homes? This was the question that helped to bring this issue of Habitus to life.

Sustainability Awards 2021 Extended

Calling for clever, adaptive re-use projects for the 2021 Sustainability Awards.

The 2021 Sustainability Awards has been extended until 4th August and there are just a few more days until this prestigious award program closes for entry.

As the longest-running awards program dedicated to acknowledging and celebrating excellence in sustainable design and architecture, the Sustainability Awards showcases projects and people that look to the future with creativity and flair.

One category, Adaptive Reuse (Alteration / Addition) showcases the creativity of an architect or designer who pursues a design that is sympathetic to the building in order to give it a new purpose and if you have a project that encapsulates this, enter your project here.

Practitioners who design projects that recognise the impact we have on our environment deserve a voice, and with myriad other categories to enter as well, there is the opportunity to be at the forefront of sustainable design wherever you live in Australia.

Submit your project for the 2021 Sustainability Awards now!

Entries close Wednesday 4 August, 2021
