The Life Outside Issue

Introducing the Life Outside issue of Habitus magazine. With life increasingly being absorbed into a digital space, there is never a more important moment to hold something tangible. In this context, the power of nature to have a physiological impact on our sense of wellbeing has never been more important. So how can we cultivate the benefits of the our natural environment in the most intimate of places – our homes? This was the question that helped to bring this issue of Habitus to life.

Sub-Zero ICBBI-48SD/S Classic Series Side-by-Side Refrigerator/Freezer

By Sub-Zero and Wolf

The ICBBI-48SD incorporates the unmistakeable design elements that make Sub-Zero a design icon — hand-finished wrapped stainless doors, distinctive louvered grille and sleek hinges. And food stays fresher longer thanks to the most advanced food preservation technology available.

The Dual refrigeration system, pioneered by Sub-Zero features two separate cooling systems. Fresh food stays fresher in the cool, moist air of the refrigerator, while frigid, dry air prevents frost and freezer burn in the freezer – optimum preservation conditions for each type of food. An air purification system, inspired by NASA technology, reduces odours and ethylene gas that hastens spoilage. Interior air is refreshed every 20 minutes to preserve food for longer and reduce food waste. A magnetic door seal system locks in cold, while an advanced microprocessor provides pinpoint climate control. An external dispenser delivers filtered water and ice.
