The Life Outside Issue

Introducing the Life Outside issue of Habitus magazine. With life increasingly being absorbed into a digital space, there is never a more important moment to hold something tangible. In this context, the power of nature to have a physiological impact on our sense of wellbeing has never been more important. So how can we cultivate the benefits of the our natural environment in the most intimate of places – our homes? This was the question that helped to bring this issue of Habitus to life.

Sub-Zero ICBIW-30 Integrated Wine Storage

By Sub-Zero and Wolf

Better storage for the bottle means more enjoyment in the glass. Sub-Zero wine preservation units act not merely as coolers but as guardians against heat, humidity, vibration and light – the four enemies that can rob wine of its complexity and character.

The ICBIW-30 has two individually controlled storage zones (one for red, one for white), to maintain wine’s temperature within 1℃ of set point, holding wines at precisely the preferred storage and serving temperature. Racks glide smoothly in and out, providing access without agitating wine. UV-resistant, bronze-tinted glass prevents light exposure. And dual evaporators maintain constant, moderate humidity. With fifteen racks and a 146-bottle capacity, the ICBIW-30 preserves and protects your wine collection.

Integrated wine storage units are also available in 457mm and 610mm widths providing a solution for any kitchen design.
