The Life Outside Issue

Introducing the Life Outside issue of Habitus magazine. With life increasingly being absorbed into a digital space, there is never a more important moment to hold something tangible. In this context, the power of nature to have a physiological impact on our sense of wellbeing has never been more important. So how can we cultivate the benefits of the our natural environment in the most intimate of places – our homes? This was the question that helped to bring this issue of Habitus to life.

Sunlounge At Sundown With Tait

Unwinding poolside has never been more luxurious. Trace Sunlounge by Tait transports its users to a tranquil resort backdrop.

Designed by Adam Goodrum, a world-renowned industrial designer, Trace Sunlounge is Tait’s latest addition to their sought-after and award-winning collection.

A quintessential addition to an effortless summer afternoon, Sunlounge’s organic form is as robust as it is inviting. The backrest, made out of Trace’s signature stainless steel mesh, easily tilts to offer three supported posture levels for ultimate comfort. When lowered entirely, Sunlounge transforms into the perfect daybed for poolside indulgence.

Ideal for residences (and resorts), Trace Sunlounge utilises high-performance materials that are resilient to weather, sun, and chlorine. Its aluminium framework is non-corrosive and incorporates laser-cut drainage holes for aided evaporation. The plump upholstery contains three tiers of reticulated foam, varying in densities to ensure a rapid drying time. Additionally, Sunlounge’s bespoke timber wheels include a rubberised outside trim to ensure smooth movement and consistent functionality.

Synonymous with Tait’s offering, the Sunlounge is designed and manufactured with exceptional quality, durability and longevity. In line with becoming a more sustainably aware studio, Tait also offers the option to refurbish products once it is at the end of its lifespan.

Trace’s outdoors lifestyle series now also encompasses an armchair, sofa, modular sofa, coffee table, drinks trolley, planter and Sunlounge. Available in Tait showrooms and dealers, Sunlounge also comes as in hardwearing, UV textured powder-coat hues that include Headland, Deep Ocean, Surfmist and Nightsky. Upholstery can also be specified in a range of premium exterior-grade fabrics.
