Introducing the Life Outside issue of Habitus magazine. With life increasingly being absorbed into a digital space, there is never a more important moment to hold something tangible. In this context, the power of nature to have a physiological impact on our sense of wellbeing has never been more important. So how can we cultivate the benefits of the our natural environment in the most intimate of places – our homes? This was the question that helped to bring this issue of Habitus to life.

1. What does your company supply?  
Bloom- Illuminated pots are available in various shapes and sizes, which provide soft, ambient light. Smart & Green-cordless, sculptural LED lamps
which change colour! Illuminated objects come in various shapes and are durable and versatile, e.g. the cube
can be used as seating and illuminated balls float on water!

2. What’s the history of your company (how did it start)?  
The original Bloom Pot was designed in 2001 by Rob Slewe for the Parnassia beach pavilion in the Dutch
seaside resort of Bloemendaal. From there, Bloom’s team of designers have expanded their range with new,
magnificent designs. In 2011, Cafe Culture added Smart & Green LED lamps to our range; they have been an
enormous success!

3. Where do you distribute?  
Café Culture is the exclusive distributer throughout Australia and Asia.

4. Describe your customers?  
Designers and architects who specify our lighting for their interior and exterior fit-outs. Home owners looking
for unique lighting solutions which stand out from the rest. Restaurant, Bar and Hotel owners who need eye-
catching yet practical lighting solutions.

5. What sets your company apart?
Our products are original design and constructed in the highest quality. Cafe Culture personal service is our
biggest strength- we work with our customers from the beginning of a project to the very end, ensuring the
order runs smoothly. Our fantastic team prides itself on being genuine and honest as well as being the best
we can be for our customers.

Innovative, durable, and of course, aesthetically pleasing to the eye!

9. What does the future hold?
Building the Bloom brand. Suppling illuminated objects people love!
