Sustainability has never been more important, and increasingly this is a consideration from the start with projects designed to address their immediate environment as well as the longevity of the planet. From the coldest winters to the most tropical of summers, addressing how we live in the environment is crucial to creating the perfect home.

Crafted by Stephanie James-Manttan, an Adelaide based ceramicist and JamFactory Alumnae, the Jolley Pendant Light takes its name from the production process used to create the stoneware shade.

The Jolleying process uses a combination of moulds and cutters to create hollow forms from various types of clays. The highly textural glazes are applied by hand and then fired in JamFactory’s ceramic studio in Adelaide, South Australia, of which James-Manttan is the head.

The Jolley’s gentle curving form highlights the flexibility of the material and the crystalline properties of the glazes. Available in Dolomite and Husk, the Jolley Light’s organic form and distinctive glazes make it a striking lighting addition to both commercial and residential applications.

The stoneware piece comes with a three-year warranty, and all lights are made to order. Delivery time is typically around 4-6 weeks Australia-wide.
