Jolley Good: Introducing JamFactory’s Jolley Pendant Light

Uniquely Australian and fiercely loyal to local designers, JamFactory has continued to provide a platform for designer products that are innovative and challenging. jam by JamFactory is a reflection of JamFactory’s local-minded approach, representing an all-Australian designed and made range of furniture, lighting and objects. jolley pendant light husk

Crafted by Stephanie James-Manttan, an Adelaide based ceramicist and JamFactory Alumnae, the Jolley Pendant Light takes its name from the production process used to create the stoneware shade.

The Jolleying process uses a combination of moulds and cutters to create hollow forms from various types of clays. The highly textural glazes are applied by hand and then fired in JamFactory’s ceramic studio in Adelaide, South Australia, of which James-Manttan is the head.

The Jolley’s gentle curving form highlights the flexibility of the material and the crystalline properties of the glazes. Available in Dolomite and Husk, the Jolley Light’s organic form and distinctive glazes make it a striking lighting addition to both commercial and residential applications.

The stoneware piece comes with a three-year warranty, and all lights are made to order. Delivery time is typically around 4-6 weeks Australia-wide.
