Kitchen & Bathroom Issue

Habitus 63 is arguably the most aspirational issue of the year with Kitchens & Bathrooms to dream about. Whether a family hub, an entertainer’s paradise or somewhere to grad a quick meal, how we live in and spend time in the kitchen is a very personal question that requires thought and an abundance of resources. Always the aspirational eye candy of design, we have some truly lovely kitchens from Greg Natale, YSG, Splinter Society, Sally Caroline and Studio Johnston. Bathrooms are just as important with Greg Natale, Studio Tate, YSG and Those Architects sharing some fabulous insights

Food is
more than just fuel for the Design Hunter™, it is as much about the experience
as the dishes – the atmosphere, the pleasure of a shared table, the finest
ingredients and, of course, good wine.

If you’re
in Sydney in March you’ll be lucky enough to indulge all these passions at the
internationally renowned Taste of Sydney food festival. Bringing together 16 of
the city’s best restaurants and chefs, set up in full professional kitchens in
the green surrounds of Centennial Park.

Over four
days from 11 – 14 March 2010, Taste of Sydney will feature signature dishes
from the likes of Becasse, ARIA and Pilu at Freshwater, to name a few, as well
as wines from across the country. A Producer’s Market will also showcase the
best fresh produce from the region while outdoor dining and live music will add
to the festival atmosphere and make the most of Sydney’s pleasant autumn
weather.

Visitors
can explore the finest cuisine and take the opportunity to take part in live
demonstrations by well-known chefs, ‘polish their palate’ with wine experts,
producers and sommeliers and get some one-on-one time with chefs at the Chef’s
Table.

At the
very least, the Taste of Sydney festival will allow you to sample the best
Sydney’s has to offer at a good price and all in one location, including: Becasse,Etch & Plan B, ARIA, Guillaume at Bennelong, Pilu at Freshwater, Restaurant
Balzac
, Danks Street Depot, Flying Fish, Assiette, Bird Cow Fish, Berowra
Waters Inn
, Marque Restaurant, Jonah’s at Whale Beach, Buon Ricordo, Longrain
Restaurant & Bar
and Four In Hand.

Tickets
are now available
starting at $27.50 for a standard entry ticket. With Premium and
VIP tickets also available.
