With Adam Goodrum, the loveliest man in design, as Guest Editor, we draw on his insights as a furniture designer, artist and educator to look at the makers shaping our design world. Sustainability has never been more important, and increasingly this is a consideration from the start with projects designed to address their immediate environment as well as the longevity of the planet. From the coldest winters to the most tropical of summers, addressing how we live in the environment is crucial to creating the perfect home.

The South Yarra development launches in style.


The Claremont is a residential building designed by award winning architects, Bird de la Coeur, with interiors by HASSELL design; Australasia’s number 1 interior design practice.

Michael Yates has been instrumental in the development of the Forrest Hill Precinct in South Yarra, which has attracted more than 5 billion dollars of development, and it now links South Yarra Station to Chapel Street.

In attendance were Michael Yates, The Honourable Matthew Guy; Victorian Minister for Planning and John Chandler; Mayor of Stonnington and more.
