The 'Bespoke' Issue

With Guest Editor Yasmine Ghoniem, we are launched headfirst into the world of unique and eclectic design. From architecture to interiors, there is nothing that can’t be enlivened with bespoke interventions. Granted, a stunningly beautiful home can be made by simply shopping for the best, but when the artist’s hand is introduced, some pure magic is possible. Whether it is an artwork or a new upholstery, a built-in component or a mosaic inlay, these gestures, whether bold or subtle, are what make the home unique.

Concrete Wallpaper

This amazing wallpaper from Norwegian company Concrete Wall is available to buy now.

We came across this wallpaper a little while ago and it’s now available to buy online, so we thought it was time we spread the word across the Region.

We imagine that if you already have concrete walls you probably won’t have too much need for this, but for those looking to get the look of concrete for a tired old wall in their home or home office, this is the product for you.

The wallpaper is actually made of high resolution images of photographs by Norwegian photographer Tom Haga, which means there is no repeating pattern (which would surely give away that you don’t actually have a concrete wall!).

All the wallpapers are custom-made by Concrete Wall and are printed on durable vinyl surfaces – meaning you can wash them down.

If you’re missing that New York loft style in your home, why not grab yourself a concrete wall. Habitus Loves this one.
