Kitchen & Bathroom Issue

Kitchens and bathrooms are, arguably, the most consequential rooms in the home — and almost always the first to be considered. Whether approached through renovation or new build, their design has the power to recalibrate how a home is lived in and experienced. For this issue, our guest editor, Mardi Doherty, principal of Studio Doherty, explores what it truly means to transform these pivotal spaces — and why thoughtful design in kitchens and bathrooms delivers dividends far beyond the purely functional. Her insights both as an architect and as her own client give an open and honest account of the thinking behind creating a home.

The Cult OUTLET is a virtual treasure trove

Introducing the Cult OUTLET, a dedicated clearance e-store on its website. The fresh platform sets the stage for customers to purchase items from premier international brands at significant discounts.

Cult broadens its digital footprint with the roll-out of Cult OUTLET, a fresh addition to its website. The new platform showcases a collection of designer furniture, lighting solutions and home decor items from ex-display or discontinued by world-renowned brands.

With generous discounts scaling up to 70 per cent, the online outlet presents a selection of offerings from celebrated brands such as Poltrona Frau, HAY, Gubi, nau, Carl Hansen & Søn, Cappellini, Zanotta, Magis, Emeco and Louis Poulsen.

The range of products featured in the Cult OUTLET is varied in condition, this mix includes ex-display pieces, items returned by customers, untouched aged stock and discontinued styles and finishes. New items are infused into the outlet monthly to keep the offerings fresh.

To provide clarity to customers, Cult has instituted a four-tier condition scale. Products are meticulously labelled in line with their condition, ranging from brand new boxed items, through minor or more conspicuous signs of wear, to items necessitating repair.

Cult guarantees transparency in the purchasing experience by clearly detailing product conditions and stock quantities on each listing. In cases where items bear signs of wear or require repair, supplementary images are made available to empower customers to make well-informed buying decisions.

Cult OUTLET finds its residence in Cult’s Sydney warehouse and stands ready for shipment all over Australia. The OUTLET collection is available online and will not appear in physical stores.
