Cyrus Australia Launch

InDesign and friends added a welcome burst of colour to the Cyrus Australia cocktail launch on Macquarie Street in Sydney last month.

White projects purity, cleanliness, and neutrality. Doctors wear white coats, brides don white gowns, and a white picket fence surrounds a safe and happy home.

Now Cyrus Company bring their special breed of architectural, classic and bespoke furniture to Australia. And the startling news is they’re all white!

After more than 30 years of successfully creating white furniture ranges in Italy, they are finally bringing their elegant ‘Bambino’ and ‘Casa’ ranges to Australia.

A special launch party on 15 September was held to mark the opening of the new Cyrus showroom at BMA House on Macquarie Street in Sydney, NSW.

Habitus and IndesignLive editors were on hand to witness the launch of fine collections of furniture, and to marvel at the totally white ensemble of products.

But If the idea of an all white room makes you a bit nervous and clumsy (or both!) never fear – Cyrus have gained their fantastci reputation for offering clients customisation of their products. Although their range is totally white, you can customise it with
different finishes, fabrics, appliques and sizes. This means Cyrus is
essentially a blank canvas on which and create and inject your
personality.
