Car/bike/plane/boat model: AV-8B Harrier II Jumpjet. Who wouldn’t be impressed by a jet that can take off vertically from a standing position?
Chair model: Hiroshima Lounge Chair in beech by Naoto Fukasawa for Maruni
Residential space: Holman House in Dover Heights by Durbach Block Jaggers. Gravity defying and set beautifully within its context. Imagine waking up to that view each day!
Commercial space: PRADA in Aoyama, Tokyo by Herzog and De Meuron.
Decorative product: KALEIDO by Clara von Zweigbergk for Hay. A collection of beautiful trays that can be configured into a myriad of shapes and patterns.
Functional product: Kelvin Lamp by Antonio Citterio & Toan Nguyen. Non-pretentious and produces a perfect light for reading.
Handmade good: A hand made Leather Briefcase I picked up from a leather craftsman during a recent trip to Florence.
Mass-produced good: Almond Magnum Mini ice creams.
Meal: Freshly made Pad Thai from the streets of Bangkok.
Restaurant: Bistro Moncur in Woollahra.
Drink: Sangiovese from Tuscany.
Bar: Quimet y Quimet, Barcelona. A tiny hole in the wall bar that serves unique wines and the most creative tapas I’ve ever had.

Piece of technology: iPhone
Historical figure: Leonardo da Vinci: An artist, musician, inventor, philosopher, engineer, anatomist, architect and all round over achiever. Was there anything this man could not do?
Fictional character: Although he isn’t a fictional character, I have always secretly wished to be reincarnated as the legendary Ninja Master Hattori Hanzo.
Vice: Eating an occasional kebab for breakfast to cure a serious hangover.
