In Australia, Designers Guild is distributed exclusively by Radford Furnishings. Radford, a 35-year-old company, is one of Australia’s leading importers and distributors of home furnishings. By opening this new store they hope to build upon the already well-established Designers Guild fan base in Australia following in the footsteps of their successful online stores in the UK and USA.
Radford’s Marketing manager, David Marks says opening in Australia is a natural progression for the brand. “There are people all around the country who are extremely passionate about Designers Guild,” he says.
“Setting up an online shop is a big step towards making Designers Guild more accessible to its fans, particularly those living outside of the capital cities. We hope that the Australian online store will also capture a new and younger audience, and will send a bit more foot traffic to our retailers and decorators,” Marks says.
When the Designers Guild online store goes live in November, it will carry a superb offering of home accessories including cushions, blankets, throws, quilts, bath towels, bags and home fragrances from each every collection.

Earlier this year, iconic international luxury brand Christian Lacroix launched its first collection of accessories for the home under license to Designers Guild, (all of which will be available on www.designersguild.net.au when it launches next month). Exclusively designed for Designers Guild by the Parisian couture house, the Christian Lacroix collection includes rugs and cushions.
