Kitchen & Bathroom Issue

Habitus 63 is arguably the most aspirational issue of the year with Kitchens & Bathrooms to dream about. Whether a family hub, an entertainer’s paradise or somewhere to grad a quick meal, how we live in and spend time in the kitchen is a very personal question that requires thought and an abundance of resources. Always the aspirational eye candy of design, we have some truly lovely kitchens from Greg Natale, YSG, Splinter Society, Sally Caroline and Studio Johnston. Bathrooms are just as important with Greg Natale, Studio Tate, YSG and Those Architects sharing some fabulous insights

The New EB 333 Oven – Celebrating 333 Years of Gaggenau

In the 333rd anniversary year of Gaggenau, the company is celebrating with a gift to design lovers everywhere, the EB 333.

The 90 cm-wide oven is an icon of the Gaggenau legacy. Revised in celebration of the company’s 333rd anniversary, the EB 333 remains true to the original design, continuing to be made almost entirely by hand, and serving as a design statement where the classic meets the groundbreaking.

Perfectly embodying Gaggenau’s design philosophy of the Traditional Avant-Garde – a juxtaposing sphere of design where timeless craftsmanship meets innovative design – the EB 333’s striking new wide door and front panel, made from a single piece of 3 mm stainless steel, create a powerfully sleek and sophisticated façade. The door also enlists new cantilevered hinge and cushioned opening technology that provide soft opening and closing, despite the door’s impressive 20kg weight, to enhance the overall user experience.

The EB 333 is further enhanced by an updated lighting concept, and new panel free control module with touch display. In addition, for the design-loving cook in the house, exclusively designed black rotary knobs are available to purchase as a special accessory.

Since first being launched in 1986, Gaggenau’s 90 cm-wide ovens have given design-appreciating foodies the professional cooking experience in the privacy of their own kitchen, whether you’re a top chef or keen amateur.

“In this momentous year, the launch of the EB 333 feels like the most fitting way to celebrate Gaggenau’s heritage and its future simultaneously,” says global Gaggenau brand head Sven Schnee, “It is our most iconic design piece and perfectly combines Gaggenau’s passion for modern innovation and precise craftsmanship. The oven EB 333, more than any other appliance, represents our rich past, meeting with our present and our future, which has been 333 years in the making. Gaggenau continues to put the kitchen at the heart of the home and the EB 333 oven is the soul of the kitchen.”
