The Ephemeral Essence Of A Butterfly

The Butterfly Table by Cattelan Italia is an architectural masterpiece, designed to bring magic to the modern dining experience.

Designed by the Nucleo+ studio, the Butterfly Table is a striking, sinuous piece that combines the weightlessness of glass with the grounding qualities of metal. An exemplary feat of natural elegance, elevated with innovative manufacturing techniques, this unique table from Cattelan Italia brings a new, disruptive personality to the dining room.

Inspired by one of the most fascinating and ephemeral creatures in the world, the Butterfly Table marries design function and enduring style in a one-of-a-kind piece. This table replaces the traditional legs with an exquisitely crafted, double looped metal base, reminiscent of a butterfly’s wings.

The base is available in titanium or bronze embossed lacquered steel, bringing a touch of Italian grandeur to any space. Sitting on top of the artistic base is a transparent, contemporary glass surface, bringing a sense of softness and fragility to the robust build. The bold contrast between the base and glass delivers a novel combination of sleek, steel curves and captivating geometries.

The Butterfly Table can also be designed with Cattelan Italia’s signature Keramik finish, further embellished with the Marmi ceramic top available in a range of variations; from the intense Portoro ceramic with a dark, rich base to the latest Breccia ceramic with vibrant, golden veins.

Cattelan Italia is the pinnacle of contemporary Italian design. Boasting an exceptional range of furniture and interior pieces, the brand embraces the sophisticated, historic materiality of classic Italian design and renders it inc  creative, modern forms. Cattelan Italia creates pieces that are at once innovative and timeless, infused with a signature Italian charm.
