With Guest Editor Yasmine Ghoniem, we are launched headfirst into the world of unique and eclectic design. From architecture to interiors, there is nothing that can’t be enlivened with bespoke interventions. Granted, a stunningly beautiful home can be made by simply shopping for the best, but when the artist’s hand is introduced, some pure magic is possible. Whether it is an artwork or a new upholstery, a built-in component or a mosaic inlay, these gestures, whether bold or subtle, are what make the home unique.

Elton Group Eveneer

Eveneer is an incredible product with endless applications from the subtle to the audacious. For those with a penchant for a bolder palette, be inspired by the possibilities as seen in a recent showcase.

Inspired by the natural grains and patterns that make wood so appealing, Eveneer is a timber veneer that brings the wild beauty of nature into any interior. Eveneer Timber Veneer is designed for those who seek bold, nature-infused interiors without compromising on sustainability or craftsmanship.

As our interior environments shift with the resurgence of post-modernism and vibrantly patterned spaces, we’re seeing a renewed appreciation for the natural burls and highly figured grain patterns that dominated  the 60s and 70s. Eveneer more than caters to this demand, allowing designers to explore wild, organic forms in both neutral and vibrant hues. Most iconically with the exaggerated patterns seen in the Maritime Pine by Kengo Kuma and Ettore Sottsass Veneers for ALPI.

These innovative products were recently highlighted in the ‘New Skins’ exhibition during Saturday Indesign. The event showcased Eveneer’s transformative potential by re-skinning classic Robin Boyd and Roy Grounds furniture  by K5 with brave, eye-catching timber veneers. The result was a striking collection that caught the eye of hundreds of attendees, proving that Eveneer has the potential to entirely reshape an interior. The exhibition also featured a collaboration with artist Jasper Knight, who integrated Eveneer into his vivacious artworks, further demonstrating the product’s creative surface. The success of the ‘New Skins’ installation at Saturday Indesign exemplifies how Eveneer can breathe new life into both classic and contemporary design pieces. These unique tables,  created for the installation,  are now available through K5.

The versatility of Eveneer is evident in its ability to be used across a range of applications. From walls & joinery in kitchens, living spaces and bathrooms to bespoke furniture pieces, it’s a product that provides designers with the tools to create spaces that are not only beautiful but also deeply connected to the natural world. With innovation being central to the Eveneer range, there are endless possibilities for creating unique and expressive interiors.

A commitment to quality and environmental stewardship underpins the production process. Each veneer is crafted with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that the beauty of natural timber is available in a sustainable and responsible manner. Complementary products, such as Eveneer WoodWall and Eveneer Profiles, further enhance the Eveneer offering, extending the creativity of designers across various interior contexts.

Eveneer Timber Veneer is not just a product; it’s an invitation to reimagine interior design. By embracing the inherent characteristics of timber, Eveneer empowers designers to create spaces that resonate with the wild beauty of nature.
