The 'Bespoke' Issue

With Guest Editor Yasmine Ghoniem, we are launched headfirst into the world of unique and eclectic design. From architecture to interiors, there is nothing that can’t be enlivened with bespoke interventions. Granted, a stunningly beautiful home can be made by simply shopping for the best, but when the artist’s hand is introduced, some pure magic is possible. Whether it is an artwork or a new upholstery, a built-in component or a mosaic inlay, these gestures, whether bold or subtle, are what make the home unique.

Get the seamless look with Fisher & Paykel’s Integrated ActiveSmart™ Fridge

Fisher & Paykel’s latest Integrated ActiveSmart™ Fridge provides a seamless kitchen look with a flush design and minimal gaps.

The new Fisher & Paykel flush-fit fridge design has been built to easily slide into existing kitchen spaces or be integrated behind kitchen cabinetry for a seamless look. One of the challenges with freestanding fridges are the gaps required around and above to allow for door clearances and ventilation. The Slide-in series minimises gaps – at only 4mm – to create consistent lines throughout a kitchen.

Designed in New Zealand, the family-size fridges uses ActiveSmart™ technology to adapt to daily use and help save energy without compromising on food care, resulting in an energy efficient 3.5 star energy rating.

With French Door the fastest growing fridge category, the Fisher & Paykel Slide-in fridge is available in a French Door configuration to meet demand, coupled with bright LED lighting meaning every space in the fridge is easily visible. The fridge is available with stainless steel panels and an ice and water dispenser, and has a gross capacity of 525 litres.
