Kitchen & Bathroom Issue

Habitus 63 is arguably the most aspirational issue of the year with Kitchens & Bathrooms to dream about. Whether a family hub, an entertainer’s paradise or somewhere to grad a quick meal, how we live in and spend time in the kitchen is a very personal question that requires thought and an abundance of resources. Always the aspirational eye candy of design, we have some truly lovely kitchens from Greg Natale, YSG, Splinter Society, Sally Caroline and Studio Johnston. Bathrooms are just as important with Greg Natale, Studio Tate, YSG and Those Architects sharing some fabulous insights

Get ready for the Winnings x Habitus House of the Year Reveal Party!

Thursday 21st November – save the date, and prepare for our fun and action-packed awards night where the winners of this year’s contest will be announced.

First, there was the shortlist. Then the jury and a full day of judging at Winnings Redfern, Sydney. Now the time of climax is almost upon us, as the full reveal arrives at an event hosted by Winnings in Melbourne on 21st November. In the meantime, of course, there is also the People’s Choice Award (votes remain open until 4th November, so get yours in quickly!). Read more about the prizes on offer here.

The Winnings x Habitus House of the Year 2024 Reveal Party will kick off at 6pm at Winnings’ impressive Richmond showroom. We don’t want to give everything away, so let’s just say that it’s set to be a memorable evening with a few surprises included. As always with Winnings – who are Major Partner this year alongside Rogerseller as Silver Partner – there will be copious quantities of food and drink on offer as guests take the chance to mingle and network among the design community. We’re expecting guests from across Australia, with possibly even some shortlisted visitors joining us from overseas.

Expect music, conversation, new connections and fun – all combined with the excitement of revealing our winners in the 2024 contest. Habitus House of the Year is not a long, formal awards night – we will have a handful of major awards to announce, with the evening for the most part open to mingling and fun. Habitus Living Editor Timothy Alouani-Roby will be MC for the event, and he’ll be inviting some special guests to address the audience in a series of brief but engaging segments designed to illuminate this year’s competition and the residential design scene in general.
