The 'Bespoke' Issue

With Guest Editor Yasmine Ghoniem, we are launched headfirst into the world of unique and eclectic design. From architecture to interiors, there is nothing that can’t be enlivened with bespoke interventions. Granted, a stunningly beautiful home can be made by simply shopping for the best, but when the artist’s hand is introduced, some pure magic is possible. Whether it is an artwork or a new upholstery, a built-in component or a mosaic inlay, these gestures, whether bold or subtle, are what make the home unique.

Invisible Table from Space Furniture

Designed by Tokujin Yoshioka for Kartell, Invisible table collection surprises both for its aesthetics and for the extreme technology that has created it.

A piece of clean, linear, minimal design, the Invisible Table Collection by Kartell is an aesthetic synthesis of the designer Tokujin Yoshioka’s Japanese culture.

Invisible Side is a multi-functional product, light and elegant which can be easily transformed into a side table or a bench in various home environments from living room to bedroom but adapts to the various functions demanded by office and project. Invisible Side comes in two transparent versions (crystal and smoke) and two matte versions (white and black).

The Invisibles Table Collection is produced through Kartell’s injection technique using a simple mould that can handle the almost off the scales weight and the size that is its stability. Available in a coffee table or console table version. Colours available are transparent crystal, matte white, matte black, smoke, green algae, amber, plum, or teal.
