The 'Bespoke' Issue

With Guest Editor Yasmine Ghoniem, we are launched headfirst into the world of unique and eclectic design. From architecture to interiors, there is nothing that can’t be enlivened with bespoke interventions. Granted, a stunningly beautiful home can be made by simply shopping for the best, but when the artist’s hand is introduced, some pure magic is possible. Whether it is an artwork or a new upholstery, a built-in component or a mosaic inlay, these gestures, whether bold or subtle, are what make the home unique.

Maurice Lacroix Masterpieces

The innovative yet familiar ‘Masterpiece’ range from Maurice Lacroix:
the pursuit of perfection.

You are keen to push that stopwatch and get the time right. You love an ingenious idea but it needs to be instantly familiar. The Masterpiece range from Maurice Lacroix lends itself to excellence in mechanical timepieces yet doesn’t stray from the heart of the watch.

To achieve better accuracy than many 30 and 45-minute time timers, the Le Chronographe watch has a new lever to reset the full rotation stop, enabling faster and more accurate time recording.

With two versions available, they come in their own specially designed boxes, in a classic stainless steel or pink gold.

For those after a fresh face to their timepiece, the Squelette employs the use of tantalum-coloured PVD to cover the watches’ bridges, striking a contrast to the black PVD-coated screws, the red jewels and the gold-plated wheels.

All hand-crafted in Saignelégier, Switzerland, never have chronographe watches looked so fresh while staying so true to the art of watchmaking.
