Little Porter's Wallpaper

Little Porter’s Collection, Porter’s Paints’ wallpaper for nurseries to teenagers.

Wallpaper is enjoying a resurgence in popularity, but according to Porter’s Paints marketing manager Caroline Edwards, there
is a gap in the market for wallpaper geared towards childrens’ and teenagers’
rooms.

She says Porter’s Paints have addressed this niche market by introducing “a new
kind of wallpaper for kids” launched mid-2008 called the Little Porter’s Collection.

First in the collection, ‘Stars’ was launched in June 2008. ‘Stars’ is suitable
for young children and features soft stars in warm skies to transform any
nursery or bedroom into an imaginative playground of bedtime stories and is
available in four hues – dark blue, light blue, pink and pastel purple.

Following the success of ‘Stars’, ‘Camouflage’ wallpaper
(pictured) has been introduced as the second in the Little Porter’s series and
boasts various shades of camouflage patterned greys to appeal to older children
from 10-14 years.

Porter’s has also recently expanded its Little Porter’s Collection with two new
designs – ‘Candy Stripes’, exhibiting scoops of soft pinks and greens mixed
with white – ideal for babies and toddlers, while its fourth creation, ‘Carnival
Stripes’, is set to appeal to older children and was designed with rumpus rooms
and teenager’s retreats in mind.
