Neolith offers a natural surface solution

Eco-friendly, natural and resistant to the elements–Neolith offers the most efficient solutions for the most demanding architectural projects.

The Size, producers of Neolith, was founded in 2009 as an innovative response to the challenges brought by the professional community in order to meet the most avant-garde architectural and interior design projects. CDK Stone director and Neolith’s Australian supplier, Tony Victor knew this demand existed in Australia, and launched Neolith into the Australia to provide designers and architects with a competitive product that met the complex design challenges the Australian market presented.

“Our company ethos is to help our customers develop world-class projects and businesses, and lead our industry to the highest level of professionalism. Our values are based on earning the total trust of our customers by providing an exceptional customer experience as well as high quality products,” says Tony. Neolith allows us to provide a product that not only helps us meet our values but allows us to introduce an innovative material to the market, which then encourages designers and architects to come up with exciting new design concepts.”

The Neolith research and design department is constantly pursuing innovative ways to introduce cutting-edge design solutions to the end-user, as well as modern solutions for construction and design requirements. Neolith slabs are created in a completely automated, high-tech factory, which ensures that product demand increases can be managed effectively in order to ensure consistent supply to match the growing international demand.

Automation also allows Neolith to maintain its high standards in product quality and consistency, while ensuring energy and output efficiency. The factory was originally designed with green outputs and components in mind, and every effort is made to avoid raw material and energy wastages. This has led Neolith to be certified by the Leeds Council, Greenbuild, and European commission as an eco-friendly product.

Neolith is also 100 percent recyclable and gains its colours from 100 percent natural pigments, entirely made up of natural clays, feldspar, silica and mineral oxides. “Neolith works by combining organic compounds such as clay, quartz and feldspar, which are then baked and compressed into slab form. The finished surface provides a scratch, stain and heat resistant surface perfect for use in the residential home,” says Tony.

It is these qualities that make Neolith a natural, reliable and unique environmentally-friendly finish for a range of complex and challenging Australian residential and commercial projects.
