We are thrilled to have interior designer of excellence, Brahman Perera, as Guest Editor and to celebrate his Sri Lankan heritage through an interview with Palinda Kannangara and his extraordinary Ek Onkar project – divine! Thinking about the future, we look at the technology shaping our approach to sustainability and the ways traditional materials are enjoying a new-found place in the spotlight. The Pebble Collection

The Pebble Collection represents De Vorm’s first collaboration with independent designer Benjamin Hubert.

About:

Hubert was inspired by the flat, smooth, rounded stones “pebbles” that wash up on the beach. The collection consists of a chair and a stool and was designed with a number of ambitions in mind, such as minimal environmental impact, that it can be completely disassembled and that all parts can be recycled.
