The 'Bespoke' Issue

With Guest Editor Yasmine Ghoniem, we are launched headfirst into the world of unique and eclectic design. From architecture to interiors, there is nothing that can’t be enlivened with bespoke interventions. Granted, a stunningly beautiful home can be made by simply shopping for the best, but when the artist’s hand is introduced, some pure magic is possible. Whether it is an artwork or a new upholstery, a built-in component or a mosaic inlay, these gestures, whether bold or subtle, are what make the home unique.

Perrin and Rowe Tapware

Timeless, charming and classic bathroom and kitchen tapware from Perrin
& Rowe.

For projects requiring a traditional look, Perrin & Rowe have a wide selection of tapware and accessories.

Referencing art deco, classical and French country design influences, the company’s tapware and accessories design offer the highest level of honest craftsmanship.

The ‘Provence’ bridge-style kitchen tap, with its lever or crossheadhandles has a certain machine aesthetic, while the ‘Aquitaine’ , with its flared extremities references French hotels. The ‘Art Deco’ hand basin, stands majestically in the bathroom awaiting use.

In keeping with these designs, Perrin & Rowe’s bidets offer a complementary aesthetic.

The products are the labour of  founders Bob Perrin and Greg Rowe who, 30 years ago, dreamt of manufacturing the highest quality traditional tapware for kitchens and bathrooms; to “blend original design with engineering excellence”.

Achieving the highest standards, Perrin & Rowe plate their taps at 20-25 microns in a choice of chrome, nickel, pewter, gold and English bronze. All products are designed and made in-house.

Perrin & Rowe, imported by The English Tapware Company, is  specially made for Australian conditions.
