Floors to inspire health and wellbeing

Since launching in Australia and New Zealand in 1963, Polyflor has set the standard for vinyl flooring with its commitment to superior quality, customer focus and sustainability.

The floor is integral to shaping how people experience interior spaces. It can be used to define a space, achieve a specific style or atmosphere, or provide a sense of navigation. It is our connection to the ground and can determine how individuals feel and how comfortable they are when they first step into a space.

The process of choosing the right flooring that fosters the desired mood, tone, connection and performance can be a challenging one.

Polyflor, global leaders in vinyl flooring solutions for residential installations, guides customers through the entire process. From choosing the most suitable, sustainable and environmentally-friendly product, through to application and maintenance.

Polyflor guides customers with choosing the right flooring

Launched in Australia and New Zealand in 1963, Polyflor creates flooring solutions that are both functional and beautiful. Whether it be for the home or in a commercial environment, Polyfor is renowned for products that uphold a level of international quality and design standard. The company also offers functional solutions like sustainable slip resistance, acoustic noise reduction, rubber and sports flooring. This versatility enables Polyflor to offer flooring solutions to meet any need.

The foundation of Polyflor’s success not only lies in the superior quality of the products, but also in the company’s customer focus. With sales offices and warehouses all throughout Australia and New Zealand, the Polyflor team works closely with you to understand your requirements and provide the ideal solution for any installation.

Environmentally-preferred flooring

Polyflor’s collection of vinyl flooring makes a big impact on the look of a space, but a small impact on the earth. The brand’s achievements in this area include products certified under the Global Greentag ecolabel scheme; achieving ‘PVC Best Practice’, as audited by NCS International Pty Ltd; and taking an industry-leading role in vinyl recycling and take-back schemes.

In addition, most of Polyflor’s product ranges are 100 per cent recyclable with many of the floor coverings containing up to 40 per cent recycled content, while the Expona and Camaro LVT flooring collections are now produced phthalate-free and/or contain bio-based plasticisers.

These achievements are all backed up by Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), which highlight Polyflor’s commitment to providing completely transparent information about Polyflor products and its impact on the environment.

The residential range

Polyflor supplies high-quality, stylish, durable and low-maintenance luxury vinyl for both commercial and residential applications.

The Residential range includes products designed purposefully for Australian homes and busy families. One of the most popular is MiPlank, which offers a natural timber look in longer, thicker planks that are easy to install and maintain. Featuring a polyurethane (PUR) coating and heavy duty commercial wear layer this product is designed to last. For those requiring a high-performing acoustic product, eight shades from the MiPlank collection are also available with a specially-formulated acoustic backing.
