The 'Bespoke' Issue

With Guest Editor Yasmine Ghoniem, we are launched headfirst into the world of unique and eclectic design. From architecture to interiors, there is nothing that can’t be enlivened with bespoke interventions. Granted, a stunningly beautiful home can be made by simply shopping for the best, but when the artist’s hand is introduced, some pure magic is possible. Whether it is an artwork or a new upholstery, a built-in component or a mosaic inlay, these gestures, whether bold or subtle, are what make the home unique.

Ventura from Poliform

Designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, the enveloping, fluid and sensual shapes of this dining chair offer upholstered comfort and refinement.

The lightness of the chair’s frame is highlighted by its slim wooden (natural or spessart oak) or metal structure. This collection shows the quintessential style and know-how of the Massaud/Poliform collaboration, creating timeless but contemporary comfort.

The Ventura is available with a sleigh or timber base structure of natural oak, spessart oak and open pore mat lacquered oak or bronze painted or mat lacquered metal rod. The body is available in moulded flexible polyurethane with pre-covering in polyester fiber and final covering offered in 44 fabrics options, eco-leather or leather.
