Kitchen & Bathroom Issue

Habitus 63 is arguably the most aspirational issue of the year with Kitchens & Bathrooms to dream about. Whether a family hub, an entertainer’s paradise or somewhere to grad a quick meal, how we live in and spend time in the kitchen is a very personal question that requires thought and an abundance of resources. Always the aspirational eye candy of design, we have some truly lovely kitchens from Greg Natale, YSG, Splinter Society, Sally Caroline and Studio Johnston. Bathrooms are just as important with Greg Natale, Studio Tate, YSG and Those Architects sharing some fabulous insights

The story behind Woollahra’s new photography gallery

Wanderlust Prints

As Wanderlust Prints launches in Sydney’s east, the gallery explains its backstory in its own words (and images, of course).

In 2022, as the world began its tentative steps toward normalcy, we found ourselves at a crossroads. After years spent pouring our hearts into the fitness and wellness industry, we felt a pull – a whisper of something new, a longing that had always lived quietly in the background: wanderlust. So, we did the unexpected. We closed the doors of our fitness studio, packed our bags, and boarded a plane to Europe with nothing but cameras in hand and dreams in our hearts.

What followed was six months of immersion in the unfamiliar: the sun-drenched coastlines of Portugal, the rustic charm of Puglia’s trulli houses, the serene beauty of Cyprus’s ancient landscapes, and the vibrant streets of Italy’s timeless cities. We didn’t just travel; we captured. With every frame, we sought not just to document but to distil the essence of a place – the light, the mood, the memory.

From these adventures, Wanderlust Prints was born. It wasn’t just about photography; it was about storytelling – inviting others to see the world through our eyes and feel the same pull that had drawn us halfway across the globe.

Wanderlust Prints finds a home

And now, after a journey that’s taken us from Portugal’s golden beaches to the cobbled streets of Rome, we’ve come home. Our photography gallery in Woollahra is more than a space; it’s a reflection of the roads we’ve walked and the skies we’ve dreamed under. Here, you’ll find not just images but invitations – to pause, dream, remember your own journeys, or imagine the ones yet to come.

With its charm and timeless beauty, Woollahra feels like the perfect place to open our doors. This gallery is our way of saying: ‘Come and wander with us.’ Step inside, and let us take you on a visual journey across Europe’s sunlit coastlines, historic villages and bustling markets.

We’re not just showing you places; we’re sharing pieces of ourselves – moments that changed us and, we hope, might inspire you to embrace a little more adventure, a little more wonder. Whether you’re a traveller at heart or someone who’s never left the shores of Australia, we invite you to join us in celebrating the beauty of the world. Our gallery is open, and the journey is just beginning.
