The Life Outside Issue

Introducing the Life Outside issue of Habitus magazine. With life increasingly being absorbed into a digital space, there is never a more important moment to hold something tangible. In this context, the power of nature to have a physiological impact on our sense of wellbeing has never been more important. So how can we cultivate the benefits of the our natural environment in the most intimate of places – our homes? This was the question that helped to bring this issue of Habitus to life.

Laal appreciates bold simplicity.

We look to classic shapes and forms for inspiration, reimagining them and stripping them back to their essential language to make way for the creation of original ‘clean’ forms, forms that are understated yet bold, do not follow trends, and have their own distinct aesthetic.

You, the Laal customer, are given the freedom to curate these forms. Offering configuration options, a palette of finishes/colours and an expanding range of accessories enables any piece from any laal collection to be tailored by you- so that you have as much of a hand in the final product as we do.

Merging traditional manufacturing methods and new finishing techniques, all laal products are made and finished by hand by a small selection of Australian manufacturers who are a very important part of the Laal family.
