In this context, the power of nature to have a physiological impact on our sense of wellbeing has never been more important. So how can we cultivate the benefits of the our natural environment in the most intimate of places – our homes? This was the question that helped to bring this issue of Habitus to life.

Using the latest cutting edge technology and design software has help challenge us to be more innovative and go beyond the normal realm of customised furniture design and create furniture pieces whether art deco inspired, traditional or contemporary to an exceptionally high standard.

Mortice and Tenon has now embraced the emerging boutique hotel industry working to deliver bespoke contract furniture to high end hotel developments and refurbishment. Our visions of Australian design made in Australia and now collaborating with the local industry has come to fruition. We continue to break new grounds and fully committed to leaving our mark on the industry.
