The 'Bespoke' Issue

With Guest Editor Yasmine Ghoniem, we are launched headfirst into the world of unique and eclectic design. From architecture to interiors, there is nothing that can’t be enlivened with bespoke interventions. Granted, a stunningly beautiful home can be made by simply shopping for the best, but when the artist’s hand is introduced, some pure magic is possible. Whether it is an artwork or a new upholstery, a built-in component or a mosaic inlay, these gestures, whether bold or subtle, are what make the home unique.

180 years of Christofle

Guests braved chilly weather to celebrate 180 years of Christofle, in
the intimate and cosy setting of the branded store in Double Bay.

Enjoying champagne and some canapes, they became acquainted with the exclusive range of products, from silverware to jewellery and home accessories.

With a strong history in classic silver work, some of the most interesting pieces from the French brand are a result of exciting collaborations with designers and architects such as Karim Rashid, Marcel Wanders and Gio Ponti.

With these and other contemporary icons such as the Space Invaders necklace, Christofle ensures its ongoing appeal to a young, design-savvy audience.
