The latest trends: An upcoming conversation with Michael Cleghorn on the industry’s trajectory

Founder of MC&Co Michael Cleghorn will give us the first insights into the upcoming trends in the industry for 2023 and 2024, hosted by Caroma on Collins.

The industry trends, from architects and designers to retail and wholesale, are everchanging – none probably more so than any other due to the visionaries of our time.

Are these trends something we can foresee? One such person who can is Michael Cleghorn, founder of MC&Co and an expert in providing trend intelligence. On Thursday, the 6th of October, Caroma on Collins will be hosting an exciting event with Cleghorn on the forecast of trends for the next two years.

Michael Cleghorn

And the paramount basis for predicting the upcoming trends of the industry comes from the Salone Del Mobile in Milan, one of the most important events in the European design calendar. Cleghorn will share the research from MC&Co about the macro trends from this year’s Salone Del Mobile, highlighting the influences that will appear in 2023 and 2024.

The event dives into the latest releases from Europe’s best and most prolific architects and designers, laying the groundwork for Cleghorn’s predictions. The event will further break down these designs, uncovering a way to reinterpret the aesthetics to sharpen your understanding of architectural and interior design concepts.

Cleghorn will also go into the processes to analyse trends, sharing his proven and effective way of predicting these shifts. The benefits and abilities to understand trend forecasting to stay one step ahead are insurmountable.

But the most impactful moment comes from the exposure Cleghorn will present, including crucial shapes and styles that are defining architectural interiors but how they are shifting. This includes seeing leading conceptual releases that may define generations to come.

The insight from Caroma’s event is vital to understanding the design movements coming toward us, and these behind-the-scene ideas of future trends cannot be missed.

Trend Forecasting 2023/2024 will be at 6pm on Thursday 6th of October, at Caroma on Collins. Register now here.
