The Life Outside Issue

Introducing the Life Outside issue of Habitus magazine. With life increasingly being absorbed into a digital space, there is never a more important moment to hold something tangible. In this context, the power of nature to have a physiological impact on our sense of wellbeing has never been more important. So how can we cultivate the benefits of the our natural environment in the most intimate of places – our homes? This was the question that helped to bring this issue of Habitus to life.

Habitus’ Kitchen & Bathroom Special Launch Party

A festive evening of beautiful food and happy faces marked the launch of Habitus’ first ever special issue: Kitchen & Bathroom.

Last Thursday, an eager crowd of Habitus enthusiasts gathered around the freshly printed pages of the first ever Habitus kitchen & bathroom special, at M Contemporary gallery.

Taking the Habitus approach, looking at architecture and design through the lens of human experience, as way of life, the team have created a unique issue on the two rooms we use most. With months of preparation, numerous conversations and thorough research, the launch of this beautiful edition was a particularly special occasion. As Editor Nicky Lobo said, it was a bit like the “christening” of a baby.

The delicious spread by Pip’s Plate, flowing champagne and pretty flowers throughout the room made it a hugely successful evening enjoyed by all. Thanks for coming everyone, we hope you enjoyed it.
