‘In Our Nature’ at aMBUSH

The Hours, aMBUSH Gallery and Ironlak present an exhibition of new paintings and mural installation by Beastman and Phibs.

‘In Our Nature’ is an exhibition by Beastman and Phibs, two of Sydney’s most celebrated and prolific artists. These two distinctive artists not only share a friendship and the same studio space, but also share a similar vision with their artwork and take strong inspiration from nature.

Exploring both real and fictional concepts birthed from the natural world around us, this exhibition is a celebration of the artists’ intrinsically connected styles and their unique portrayal of the many colours, patterns, elements and lifeforms that can be, or could be, found in nature.

Ambush Gallery invites you to view this collection of new paintings on mounted wood by Beastman and Phibs, as well as immerse yourself in an ambitious mural installation by the artists in the gallery’s garage space, which also features atmospheric sound design by Dan O’toole (Ears).

Presented by The Hours, Ambush Gallery and Ironlak, ‘In Our Nature’ is a truly unique, collaborative and multi-sensory experience that should not be missed.

The Exhibition opens Friday 22 March 6-9pm, and continues through 23 & 24 March 12-6pm at Ambush Gallery, 4a James Street, Waterloo NSW 2017, Sydney, Australia.

Beastman and Phibs will also be live painting at the Gallery on Saturday 23 March in the afternoon.
