The Life Outside Issue

Introducing the Life Outside issue of Habitus magazine. With life increasingly being absorbed into a digital space, there is never a more important moment to hold something tangible. In this context, the power of nature to have a physiological impact on our sense of wellbeing has never been more important. So how can we cultivate the benefits of the our natural environment in the most intimate of places – our homes? This was the question that helped to bring this issue of Habitus to life.

Apollo Flush Plates by Rogerseller

By Rogerseller

Apollo by Rogerseller is a utilitarian yet elegant flush plate that draws inspiration from an instrumental dashboard of a spacecraft.

The cylindrical buttons are identical in geometry but are differentiated using symbols that apply cognitive ergonomic principles. These are particularly important in spacecraft design to optimise performance, safety & wellbeing under operating conditions of zero gravity. Apollo by Rogerseller symbolises the strength of the flush by a set of shaded graphical rectangles that are easy to read and provoke a quick response. The manual operation of the buttons feels deliberate and provides tactile feedback when activating the flush valve bellows. Constructed of solid brass, the button and plate embody certainty and quality. Available in the full Rogerseller selection of Natural Elements finishes, the collection will suit any contemporary bathroom and complement the wider Rogerseller collection.
