Living in the Environment Issue

Issue 62 is the first issue of the year and always a great time to put our best foot forward. With Adam Goodrum, the loveliest man in design, as Guest Editor, we draw on his insights as a furniture designer, artist and educator to look at the makers shaping our design world. Sustainability has never been more important, and increasingly this is a consideration from the start with projects designed to address their immediate environment as well as the longevity of the planet. From the coldest winters to the most tropical of summers, addressing how we live in the environment is crucial to creating the perfect home.

The Multifunction Culinary Drawer CDK15630, with Black Krystal glass front panel, is perfect for keeping food warm, preheating dinnerware, slow cooking, defrosting, drying foods, proofing dough and much more. It has Electronic Sensor Touch Controls with 3 pre-set temperatures for warming crockery and food plus adjustable and customisable temperature and time settings for other cooking.

This 22L drawer has a 25kg load capacity and is particularly suitable for large and tender pieces of meat, as with low temperature cooking meat loses less liquid (less molecular breakdown) and maintains organoleptic characteristic (vitamins, proteins and so on) keeping freshness, flavour and juiciness intact.

As with all Kleenmaid appliances, it comes with a 5 year full parts and labour warranty, and is supported by our highly skilled national service network.
