The 'Bespoke' Issue

With Guest Editor Yasmine Ghoniem, we are launched headfirst into the world of unique and eclectic design. From architecture to interiors, there is nothing that can’t be enlivened with bespoke interventions. Granted, a stunningly beautiful home can be made by simply shopping for the best, but when the artist’s hand is introduced, some pure magic is possible. Whether it is an artwork or a new upholstery, a built-in component or a mosaic inlay, these gestures, whether bold or subtle, are what make the home unique.

Falkland Suspension Lamp

Originally designed in 1964 by Bruno Munari, the Artemide Falkland Suspension Lamp is as popular today as it was then.

Chic and impressive, the Falkland Suspension Lamp is as contemporary as it is classic. Adapting to a range of interiors and spaces, its minimalistic aesthetic is shaped by finely woven fabric being stretched over several Aluminium rings, resulting in a tubular structure. Providing soft diffused light that filters through its unique composition, it is ideally utilised above a dining table, within a living space or illuminating a hallway, bringing comfort, harmony and a refined sensitivity to any room.

The Falkland suspension lamp is a stocked item, if out of stock the lead time is up to 14 weeks.
