With Adam Goodrum, the loveliest man in design, as Guest Editor, we draw on his insights as a furniture designer, artist and educator to look at the makers shaping our design world. Lagoon is an in-house design created as part of our X-MATERIALITY installation for Melbourne Design Week 2018. Where sun-kissed land meets tropical waters, unique details have been transformed into sculpted textiles to create a calming interior scene. A curious mindset allowed us to explore a variety of construction techniques, producing amusing details that remind us of the sea. Lagoon is a Finalist in The Design Files Awards 2019 for the Textiles and Collaboration categories.
