The Life Outside Issue

Introducing the Life Outside issue of Habitus magazine. With life increasingly being absorbed into a digital space, there is never a more important moment to hold something tangible. In this context, the power of nature to have a physiological impact on our sense of wellbeing has never been more important. Laguna is a collection of spherical glass table lamp in different hues accompanied by cylindrical bases from lacquered metal, chrome and brass. With its pure elegance and its harmonious curves, Laguna was originally designed by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez for Artemide Design with the intention of use in hotel and residential interiors.

Laguna combines traditional hand-blown glass techniques with the latest LED technology, to ensure environmentally friendly lighting and durability. The hand-blown glass gives the light a soft ambient glow. “The lagoon of Venice was the main inspiration: its fascinating atmosphere, its light and its mist. The character of the collection reflects its main material: hand-blown glass from Venice.”
