The Life Outside Issue

Introducing the Life Outside issue of Habitus magazine. With life increasingly being absorbed into a digital space, there is never a more important moment to hold something tangible. In this context, the power of nature to have a physiological impact on our sense of wellbeing has never been more important. So how can we cultivate the benefits of the our natural environment in the most intimate of places – our homes? This was the question that helped to bring this issue of Habitus to life.

Laser Blade XS ‘The Blade’

By iGuzzini

The Laser Blade XS ‘The Blade’ is an exciting addition to the award-winning original Laser Blade architectural lighting family, which transforms small invisible LEDs into powerful, uniform circles of light.

Measuring only 28 mm wide, Laser Blade XS ‘The Blade’ creates a perfectly homogeneous circular distribution of light making it an unassuming, yet attractive solution for areas where high visual comfort is desired. The versatile range is available in both linear and square shapes, in a low voltage track, ceiling mount or hanging pendant. With a choice of finishes – white, black, gold and anthracite grey – and the ability to change colour temperatures, the range offers the ultimate in design flexibility.

Laser Blade XS contains a wall-wash optic for illumination of vertical surfaces or high-contrast down lighting with different beam angles of 24°, 36° or 55°. A narrow beam allows design elements to be accentuated, while a wider beam is used for general lighting.
