The Life Outside Issue

Introducing the Life Outside issue of Habitus magazine. With life increasingly being absorbed into a digital space, there is never a more important moment to hold something tangible. In this context, the power of nature to have a physiological impact on our sense of wellbeing has never been more important. So how can we cultivate the benefits of the our natural environment in the most intimate of places – our homes? This was the question that helped to bring this issue of Habitus to life.

Mater Lounge Chair

By Cult

The Lounge Chair by Mater builds on The Dining Chair’s and High Stool’s beautifully fluid, sculptural and archetypal character. Designed by Space Copenhagen, the backrest and seat are larger and generously rounded for a heightened sense of comfort. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a soft, durable leather from Sorensen Leather and is fully supportive and comfortable so that it outweighs the need for armrests.

The collection is available in solid oak or beech wood in black stained lacquered, sirka grey or natural matt lacquered oak.

The wood is sustainably sourced from well-managed forests to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals of protecting “Life on Land” (SDGs 15), “Responsible Consumption and Production” (SDGs 12) and “Partnership for the Goals” (SDGs 17).
