Living in the Environment Issue

Issue 62 is the first issue of the year and always a great time to put our best foot forward. With Adam Goodrum, the loveliest man in design, as Guest Editor, we draw on his insights as a furniture designer, artist and educator to look at the makers shaping our design world. Sustainability has never been more important, and increasingly this is a consideration from the start with projects designed to address their immediate environment as well as the longevity of the planet. From the coldest winters to the most tropical of summers, addressing how we live in the environment is crucial to creating the perfect home.

Palco – Low-Voltage Micro Spotlights

By iGuzzini

The Palco range of spotlights, wall washers and framers has been extended to include micro solutions with 51 mm, 37 mm and 19 mm diameters powered at low voltage that can be either recessed or surface-mounted. Featuring Opti Beam optical technology, Palco generates a well-defined beam without double-ring effects that ensures extraordinary visual comfort.

Palco is available in a number of forms making it ideal for museums, art galleries retail and hospitality. Palco spotlights provide spot, medium and flood spreads, the wall washers are excellent for vertical distribution and the framers create bright geometrical forms with precise outlines.

Up to two accessories can be fitted simultaneously to adapt and direct the light beam. Dual adjustment is available with tilting by +/- 90° and rotation up to 355°. Palco can be installed on track, individually or in groups, with optimized centres and rods for wall mounting.
