With Adam Goodrum, the loveliest man in design, as Guest Editor, we draw on his insights as a furniture designer, artist and educator to look at the makers shaping our design world. Our answer to the challenges of home schooling and working from home is the new Scissor Desk. Made from Birch plywood and simple to assemble the desk has ample room for a laptop, books and a lamp.

Designed by David Harrison for Robert Plumb, the Scissor Desk demonstrates exquisite craftsmanship and innovative computer-aided machining to deliver a simple, functional and dynamic desk. The desk is low maintenance and lends it self to both home office use or kids crafting without fear of damage.

Perfect for any corner of the home, it is available in white or black film-faced plywood with natural birch ply edge. Intelligent and considered, the Scissor Desk brings the excitement to the learning experience with a refreshed, inviting character.
