Living in the Environment Issue

Issue 62 is the first issue of the year and always a great time to put our best foot forward. With Adam Goodrum, the loveliest man in design, as Guest Editor, we draw on his insights as a furniture designer, artist and educator to look at the makers shaping our design world. Sustainability has never been more important, and increasingly this is a consideration from the start with projects designed to address their immediate environment as well as the longevity of the planet. From the coldest winters to the most tropical of summers, addressing how we live in the environment is crucial to creating the perfect home.

Seam Dining Table

By Tait

The Seam dining table makes a perfect accompaniment to the Seam chair. Anchoring the collection unified by clean lines and refined detail, yet contrasted by inherently robust construction  the Seam dining table offers versatility and elegance. Spanning commercial to residential applications including hospitality, breakout, alfresco and balconies, the Seam dining table is designed for outdoor use, though is equally at home indoors.
The rectangular tabletop is available in either exterior grade compact laminate or aluminium sheet table top options. The table legs are available in either powder coated stainless steel or sustainable timber legs. The Seam collection is personified through a rich and earthy colour palette, making reference to Australian coastlines, terrains and flora – hues include Deep Ocean, Paperbark, Ochre, Pale Eucalypt and Woodland Grey. Finished in hard-wearing, UV-stable, textured powder coat, Seam’s surfaces take on a soft, tactile and refined quality.
