The Life Outside Issue

Introducing the Life Outside issue of Habitus magazine. With life increasingly being absorbed into a digital space, there is never a more important moment to hold something tangible. In this context, the power of nature to have a physiological impact on our sense of wellbeing has never been more important. So how can we cultivate the benefits of the our natural environment in the most intimate of places – our homes? This was the question that helped to bring this issue of Habitus to life.

Christofle + LaCie USB Key

Another elegant thumb drive design – a collaboration with Christofle and LaCie.

If you’re like us you’ll have seen some amazing USB thumb drives since they came into prominence in the early 2000s.

Well, as our lives become increasingly technologically driven, it’s no surprise that they’re progressing into fashion items. The latest little gem we’ve found is this beautiful drive from Paris silver brand Christofle and LaCie.

Like a small silver pebble, the thumb drive features a series of groves running across its surface which disguise the joint of the lid and USB.

A beautifully designed object in its own right, the Galet also holds 4GB of data, is small enough to slip in your pocket and can also be used as a keyring.

You can buy it online here.
